I'm a software developer from Sasolburg, in the Free State, South Africa. In 2022 I was selected as one of 500 RISE Global Finalists worldwide, a program backed by Schmidt Futures and The Rhodes Trust, and was invited to a summer Leadership Program at the University of Chicago as part of it. I studied Computer Science and Mathematics as part of a BSc IT at the University of the Free State, and I'm currently a Software Developer Intern at SpecCon Holdings, building full-stack C#, SQL, and ASP.NET Web API systems for their internal B-BBEE rating platform. Outside of that, I design, build, and ship my own products end to end under AethelSt8: AethelHook and SasTownHub, both live on the Google Play Store.
An AI agent permission gateway
Routes dangerous tool calls from six coding AI CLIs (Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot CLI, Devin CLI) to your phone for approval, so an agent running unattended can't run a command you haven't seen. Built as a .NET 9 Windows Service, an Android/Kotlin companion app, and a WPF tray app, connected over a self-pinned TLS/WebSocket link with no cloud in the middle.
Sasolburg's Digital Plug
A local business and community-services directory for Sasolburg/Zamdela, South Africa - businesses, talent and creatives, taxi fares, schools, and public places (clinics, police stations, libraries) in one Android app, with a form for local businesses to list themselves for free.
SpecCon Holdings
Developing and maintaining full-stack applications in C#, SQL, and the ASP.NET Web API framework for internal B-BBEE rating and reporting systems, and tracking project workflows across Git, GitHub, and Azure DevOps.

Designing, building, and shipping AethelHook and SasTownHub end to end, from Windows service and Android app code to Google Play Console releases.
